The Green Belt training course provides students with a solid understanding of the Six Sigma methodology - including the objectives, potential benefits, and the most common tools. This course is a practical and cost efficient way to build skills in Six Sigma. Upon completing our Green Belt course, students have the skill set to effectively contribute to your organization's continuous improvement efforts. The Green Belt course is 3 days. Green Belt Training & Certification (Technical and Professional)

This Green Belt training course is for individuals who not only want to learn the technical aspects of Six Sigma, but also want to demonstrate a working knowledge of the tools and methodology. Our Green Belt training consists of 9 days of learning spread over 3 months. Green Belt work is required in between the sessions for certification. Green Belts who successfully complete our course will have the skill set to effectively lead smaller Six Sigma projects and assist Black Belts. Green Belts will learn some basic statistics; however the course will not cover the in-depth statistics that the Black Belts use. Green Belts learn the 5 phases of Six Sigma (DMAIC), basic statistics as well as the use and application of some Six Sigma tools and techniques. Students who successfully complete the course will receive two certifications as a Green Belt. The first certification is the Technical Certification - indicating that the student understands the technical components of Six Sigma. The second certification is the Professional Certification - indicating that the student was able to apply the Six Sigma methodology to make improvements to a process.

Black Belt Training & Certification (Technical and Professional)

The Black Belt training includes three - one week sessions of intense learning delivered over a 3 month period. Black Belt course work is required in between the sessions. The Black Belt student studies the 5 phases of Six Sigma (DMAIC) in detail, learns statistics, Six Sigma tools and techniques as well as their proper application. There will be numerous hands-on applications during the class sessions as well as small group breakout learning activities. Students who successfully complete the course will receive two certifications as a Black Belt. The first certification is the Technical Certification - indicating that the student understands the technical components of Six Sigma. The second certification is the Professional Certification - indicating that the student was able to apply the Six Sigma methodology to make improvements to a process.

One of our competitive advantages is we have low student to teacher ratios. We typically limit class sizes between 2 to 6 students so that each student can get individual attention when learning the Black Belt material.

The course can be customized to meet your organization's specific needs. If your organization is a service company, the transactional (non-manufacturing) version of the course can be given along with examples that are applicable to your work. Likewise, if your organization is a manufacturing company, the manufacturing version of the course can be given along with applicable examples.

    The Certification Process includes:

    • 100% attendance at the three-one week sessions
    • Successful completion of a Six Sigma project
